12. Probability and Statistics

 

In this subject the student learn the statistical basic techniques. For this, the main instruments will be reviewed statistics that serve for the description, summary, understanding and the basic concepts of the descriptive statistic of data sets, which include measures of central tendency, of dispersion, location and form, basic graphs, correlation coefficients and linear regression, the probability of random one-dimesional variables, with emphasis on binomial, Poisson and normal distributions.

11. Advance programming 

 

Advanced Programming is a theoretical-practical subject that uses knowledge of Fundamentals of Programming and Basic Sciences, developing in the student the ability to analyze, design and implement computer solutions with the approach of Object-Oriented Programming and file management. The software to learn are: Java (main software), Python and C/C++.

10. Investigation Methodology

In this subject, the student will learn the general aspects of knowledge and science, principles, approaches, types and phases of research, methods and techniques in the research plan: problem, research topic, justification methodologies, techniques and instruments, population finally shows the presentation of the results of the investigation as a scientific article.

9. Fundamentals programming 

 

This subject is the initial step in the design of algorithms, the solve problems with the use of the computer as a tool. The students will develop the ability to discover the sequence of steps that must be archived to achieve a goal by applying instructions, conditionals, repetitive cycles, menus, vectors, matrices and strings, ordering-and-searching methods.
 
The programs to learn are: DFD, PSeInt in the initial fase and Java (main software), Python and C/C++ (additional software).

8. Multimedia system programming 

 

The programming of multimedia systems is a theoretical-practical topic that deals with the different elements that make up a multimedia project: text, image, photography, audio, video, animation, user interface, websites.
 
The characteristics of the different dole formats of each of these components also study the software tools, free and private software, mainly Adobe that allow the student to create, edit and manipulates each of the files corresponding to the multimedia components.

This subject allows us to analyze the use of Information Technology, Communication and Society (TICS) in today’s world.
 
The student learns types of software license, advanced desktop and cloud office tools for text editor, spreadsheets, presentations, email collaborative work, as well as applications and strategies for bibliographic search, Scopus database, Research gate, among others; finally, the student’s academic portfolio.

The database is a theoretical-practical subjects that makes use of knowledge of algebra, calculation and programming (I and II); where the student acquires the ability to design, implement and evaluate database that solve problems of handling, storage and exploitation of information.
 
The student learns the model entity relationship (E-R), integrity, normalization, SQL.

3. Audio and Animation


This subject theoretical-practical aspects of preproduction, production, digital postproduction in audio and video.

The subject studies includes color principles in the video, frames, camera movements, field of vision, image composition accompanied by language rhetoric for these type of products using free and private software mainly Adobe

 

 

2 Graphing and animation

This theoretical and practical subject focuses on the design of graphic applications based on creativity and innovation processes.
 
Free and private graphic and animation tools are studied, including Adobe, as well as the study of color theory, among other topics.

This subject that uses the knowledge of mathematical analysis and algebra mainly.

The student will know the architecture of a computer: parts and pieces; information representation systems; boolean algebra and logic flowcharts and database.
